Applied Behavior Analysts was created to address two problems together. Families were being excluded from support because of diagnosis, insurance, age, cost, and long waitlists. Future BCBAs were completing fieldwork that too often failed to prepare them to assess real situations, collaborate with caregivers, or explain behavior science in a way people could actually use.

Support without an insurance or diagnosis requirement
Families receive our caregiver services completely free. They do not need insurance coverage, a qualifying diagnosis, prior authorization, or the ability to pay before someone is willing to listen and help.
For future BCBAs
Fieldwork connected to people, not artificial assignments
Trainees work with a real caregiver-client under individualized BCBA supervision. They learn to analyze behavior, use research, interpret data, develop practical recommendations, communicate clearly, and adjust their work based on what happens next.
Another path to BCBA fieldwork
Fieldwork beyond the RBT role
Getting BCBA fieldwork does not have to mean leaving your current job to become an RBT or starting over at an ABA clinic. Our program provides a client through our practice and individualized online BCBA supervision, giving qualified candidates another way to complete meaningful, predominantly unrestricted fieldwork while continuing to manage work, school, family, and everyday life.

You are assigned one primary caregiver-client through our practice, giving you the time to understand the family, build trust, and connect your fieldwork to a real person.

Predominantly Unrestricted BCBA Fieldwork
Complete client-specific activities involving assessment, research, data analysis, caregiver training, treatment planning, documentation, and behavior-analytic decision-making.

Individual Supervision and Practice
Work with one assigned BCBA who reviews your recorded caregiver meetings, gives individualized feedback, and practices difficult conversations with you through role-play and behavioral skills training.

Free Services for Families
The fees trainees pay for BCBA supervision fund the caregiver services our practice provides completely free, without requiring insurance coverage, a qualifying diagnosis, prior authorization, or the ability to pay.

Who our BCBA fieldwork program is for
Our supervision model is designed for BCBA candidates who need a structured fieldwork experience that can fit alongside their existing work, education, family, and other responsibilities.
We limit intake so every trainee receives individualized, BCBA-led supervision focused on developing professional judgment and independence.
- Students who want their BCBA fieldwork to help make behavior-analytic support accessible to families who might otherwise go without it.
- Students beginning or continuing behavior-analytic coursework who need BCBA supervision and a structured fieldwork pathway.
- Educators who want to pursue BCBA fieldwork without automatically leaving their school-based careers to become RBTs.
- Candidates who need BCBA fieldwork but cannot or do not want to leave their current jobs solely to obtain supervision.
- RBTs who already have direct-service experience but need additional unrestricted BCBA fieldwork and individualized supervision.
Program experience
A national model built around service
What began with free parenting classes in Matthew Hilley’s kitchen has grown into a nationwide model serving more than 100 families across three time zones. Families still pay nothing.
Knowing the science and knowing how to sit across from an exhausted parent and explain that science in a way that actually helps them are not the same skill.
Our 20 BCBA supervisors include PhDs and other doctoral-level professionals, university educators, adjunct instructors, and textbook contributors. Each trainee is assigned one BCBA for individual supervision within a larger organization committed to helping trainees listen carefully, coach caregivers, and apply behavior science responsibly.

BCBA supervision pricing
Our program requires a minimum of 60 BCBA fieldwork hours per month. Your monthly supervision cost depends on how many fieldwork hours you collect and whether you are completing standard or concentrated fieldwork.
Trainees collecting 100 or more fieldwork hours per month qualify for our reduced supervision rate.
Standard fieldwork starts at $450 per month for 60 hours.
That includes three supervision hours at $150 per hour. The supervision rate is $140 per hour when you complete 100 or more fieldwork hours in a month.
